Now THIS Was a Man Who Really Loved His Guns…

Comments on Addie Hoyt Fargo blog dated April 2, 2012

At least he wasn't shot twice by someone in his hunting party......
As Rosemary continues to grasp at anything that might provide any level of credibility to her conspiracy theory she gets more and more ridiculous.  Could be E J didn't own the gun and that's why he was trying to save it.  Seems like he wasn't much of a hunter or he wouldn't have blown himself out of the boat.

I must have missed the deer hunting and turkey hunting blog.  Rosemary wouldn't just make these things up, would she?

For a change Rosemary gets the title of the Mary Wilson's  book right.  Frequently she can't seem to remember the title when she writes her blogs.

And Rosemary continues to state E J shot his wife although there isn't any proof and she has failed in her attempt to accumulate overwhelming circumstantial evidence to prove her point.  Might be a good time for Rosemary to cut her losses while she still and any reputation remaining.

Mandie Brewer, of course, is an ardent supporter of anything Rosemary writes.  Wonder what's in it for him/her.  We also know that Rosemary edits the comments sent to her blog to suit her own agenda.  Mandie maybe doesn't exist or doesn't care.  Too bad Rosemary doesn't open her blog to all the comments people would like to send.

In summary, not sure why Rosemary would even bother to write this blog other than to keep something on her blog periodically.  There isn't any real content to implicate anything regardless of who owned the guns or whether E J hunted or not.  Rosemary continues to write a history of E J and events surrounding his life.  Guess she has been unsuccessful in finding anything interesting about the Hoyts and Hawleys.

Also haven't seen anything confirming Addie owned a house in Lake Mills and Chicago or what her profession might have been in Chicago.  Maybe the house business was made up like a lot of the other blog writings, maybe it's just not true (like many of the other blog writings), or maybe it's better to let sleeping dogs lie.

  1. I have suspected that Addie's occupation was the world's oldest. EJ put up the money to let Addie run the construction of a house on Reed Street, this is why there is no title in her name. I could tell which one but I am not one of the chosen few. Besides, none of the people who have actually studied the history of Lake Mills have ever been welcome to post on Rosemary's blog, we don't follow the party line.

  2. This is one of my favorite photos of Addie; clearly shows her crooked nose; remember Rosie the Red writing about how beauty is built from all the features being proportionate, how her filcrum (sp? I never knew I possessed such a thing) lines up with the tip of her nose, ad nauseum? Another mistake Rosie? Seems like you are ridden with errors in your quest for railroading a man long dead. Having to demonize the dead for publicity is as low as a person can go. I was taught not to speak ill of the dead or that if I couldn't say something good about someone, to say nothing at all. So Rosie, when you die.

  3. The article about EJ and the boat - it happened in 1884 and has what to do with anything?? And trying to save the gun - why wouldn't he or anyone else for that matter?? A

  4. While I was outside working on a home project I was wondering if E J owned a fishing rod.. That didn't show up on the house inventory either. I guess after is killed some number of fish he was adept enough to skewer Addie up to the reel. Then, of course, he needed to get rid of the rod. Maybe he sunk it in the lake.
The point is that this makes about as much sense since the forensic report was conclusive that there wasn't any sign of gunshot wounds in the artifacts that were found. That was one aspect that Dr. Peterson was clear about.

  5. Good God! Only up to 1883 in the Lake Mills Leader?? Why not cut the losses and get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather. Give it up. You lost. Everything has been refuted. One can't argue with the exumation video. As for EJ, Why would he drop the gun in the water, especially since he had a good grip on the boat?? People back then knew the value of things and didn't easily discard their equipment and run to Fleet Farm with a credit card for replacements. Ask any hunter what is the liklihood of someone throwing away a gun. Incidentally, I missed the point, if there was one. This had what to do with Addie's death?? He hung onto the gun thinking, "I'm gonna need this for 1910. I read that entire post aloud and the baby kicked the slats out of the cradle, laughing so hard.

  6. What an ego! Today she writes, "Each day, 800-1,000 people visit this website". She can't really be bragging about this. I bet 95% of those are pointed there by Google when they type in the word "Sears". Although I could be wrong. They're could be sent to her site when they type in the word "fiction". Ted
